When you apply for a position at Eurides, we process your personal data.

email and our website.
For What Purposes Does Eurides Process Personal Data?
Eurides processes applicants' personal data for the following purposes:
- Assessing suitability for a current or future role.
- Communicating during the hiring process, including scheduling interviews.
- Extending a job offer, onboarding a new employee, and drafting an employment contract.
On What Legal Basis Does Eurides Process Personal Data?
The processing of personal data for applicants is necessary for the potential establishment of an
employment contract. If you are not selected for a role, Eurides may ask for
permission to retain your CV for future opportunities. If you consent, Eurides will store your CV, motivation letter, and contact details for up to
one year. You may
withdraw your consent at any time by sending an email to
hr@eurides.be. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior data processing.

During the hiring process, Eurides may process various types of personal data, depending on what you provide. This typically includes:

How Does Eurides Process Personal Data?
1. Security Measures
Eurides implements
reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect applicants from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of personal data. All personal data processing takes place
within the European Union.
If, despite security measures, a
data breach occurs that poses a high risk to your rights and freedoms, Eurides will inform you as soon as possible, outlining the incident and the measures taken to limit the impact and prevent recurrence.
2. Retention Periods
Eurides retains your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the
purposes for which they were collected.
- Application data are deleted four weeks after the hiring process concludes, unless you grant permission for longer retention.
- If you provide consent, your data may be kept for up to one year for future job opportunities.
3. Automated Decision-Making
Eurides does
not use
automated decision-making for hiring. Every hiring decision is made with
human oversight.
Are Personal Data Shared with Third Parties?
Eurides
does not share your personal data with external parties. However, Eurides does use an
HR system to process your data. A
data processing agreement ensures that this system maintains
the same level of security and confidentiality as Eurides.
Additionally, Eurides may collaborate with
recruitment agencies, who have access to personal data stored in our HR system. These agencies also operate under
data processing agreements.
What Are Your Rights?
Under privacy laws, you have several
rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Information – You can ask Eurides whether your data are being processed.
- Right of Access – You can request details on how your data are being used.
- Right to Rectification – If your personal data are incorrect, you may request corrections.

Processing of (personal) data by the operator of the recruitment website
General information
This recruitment website is operated by Personio SE & Co. KG, which offers a human resource and candidate management software solution (
https://www.personio.com/legal-notice/).
Data transmitted as part of your application will be transferred using TLS encryption and stored in a database. The sole controller of this data within the meaning of article 24 of the GDPR is the enterprise carrying out this online application process. Personio’s role is limited to operating the software and this recruitment website and, in this context, being a processor under article 28 of the GDPR. In this case, the processing by Personio is based on an agreement for the processing of orders between the controller and Personio.
In addition, Personio SE & Co. KG processes further data, some of which may be personal data, to provide its services, in particular for operating this recruitment website. We will refer to this in more detail below.

Access logs (“server logs”)
Each access to this recruitment website automatically causes general protocol data, so-called server logs, to be collected. As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual.

Error logs
So-called error logs are generated for the purpose of identifying and fixing bugs. This is absolutely necessary to ensure we can react as quickly as possible to possible problems with displaying and implementing content (legitimate interest). As a rule, this data is a pseudonym and thus does not allow for inferences about the identity of an individual. The legal basis for this is §25 subsection 2 Sentence 2 TDDDG.
When an error message occurs, general data such as the domain name of the website, the web browser and web-browser version, the operating system, the IP address, as well as the timestamp upon occurrence of the respective error message and/or specification is collected.
These error logs are stored for a period of up to 7 days. There is no right to object to this.
